Dr. Maria Luisa Toledo

Dr. Toledo is an expert in childhood mental health and parenting affected by trauma, disorders and disabilities usually diagnosed in infancy, childhood and adolescence. Her expertise lies on prevention and behavior change communications.


Her professional expertise includes fields such as cultural competence issues, research methodology, and minority mental health through the promotion of new parenting skills to alleviate dysfunctional family environments. As a behavior change communication expert she develops strategies to ensure that health promotion and behavior change messages are consistent with the health needs of the target population in order to promote those healthy parenting behaviors.


Dr. Toledo’s expertise in the field of disease and mental health awareness led her to create, develop and implement original health content for Latinos in the United States and developing countries. She has been consulting as early intervention specialist for head starts and early head starts for the Latino community.


Dr Toledo holds a master in clinical psychology and a master and doctorate in research methodology. She is affiliated as professional member to the American Psychological Association, the Society of Consulting Psychology, the New York State Parent Education Partnership, and the M-Health Alliance/ M-Health Working Group.

Dr. Walter Arenzon

Walter Arenzon, was SVP, Group Director / US Strategy Officer for cross-cultural audiences in McCann WorldGroup. He launched McCann HumanCare Salud as the first cross-cultural consumer healthcare agency in the space. His clients included GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, Novartis, and The Ad Council among others.


Dr. Arenzon created an exclusive division for the production of dialogue enhancing tools for ethnic populations and the HCPs that treat them, based on web films and other interactive online properties.


He created strategic guidelines and protocols for social media engagement directed to physicians that focused on multicultural audiences.


Farmacopea worked on original content for TV (wellness and lifestyle) in disease awareness, (family, diet and intervention instances).


Dr. Arenzon has received multiple creative awards including a Silver Pencil, 2 Clio Awards, 2 New York Festival awards, and multiple Manny awards nominations (pharmaceuticals).


He is a member of the Creative Club of London, as well as member of similar organizations in Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and New York. Walter has received numerous certificates of recognition for his extensive work in minority disparity campaigns as well as his extensive pro-bono collaboration with the Ad Council (A1C awareness, Heart Health and diabetes among others), ADA, Office of Minority Health, Partnership for a Drug Free America, Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Literacy Programs Coalition among others.


He is a frequent speaker in ethnic disparities discussions and has advised past US secretaries of health in communicating to underserved, undereducated populations.
